Two famous voice actors return to reprise their roles, as many will be familiar with Mark Hamill who will reprise his role as the Joker. Kevin Conroy will also return to play the infamous Batman as many remember the duo from the ever awesome Batman: The Animated Series cartoon (which you can now find on DVD) in the 90s.

Featuring an original story penned exclusively for the game by famous Batman author, Batman: The Animated Series writer and five-time Emmy award winner, Paul Dini, Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios, will launch worldwide on Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION®3 and Windows PC in the Summer of 2009. With intensely realistic graphics and a gothic, moody and extraordinarily detailed setting, Batman: Arkham Asylum offers diverse gameplay options to push the envelope for all action, adventure and superhero games in the future. Batman: Arkham Asylum exposes players to a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure taking them to the depths of the ARKHAM ASYLUM.

Let's hope the gameplay is just as good as the story and hopefully takes entertaining advantages of the Unreal 3 Engine.

Is it official to say that Nintendo is trying to slowly take over the world? Especially given the fact that the Nintendo Wii has still been selling like hot cakes only 2 years after its release? Nintendo has announced that through its efforts it has taken over parts of Toys R' Us and has opened a "Store within a store".

The store is located at the large Toys R' Us center in Times Square, New York City. The store is averaged at about 1,000 square feet with an interactive Wii wall for shoppers. Shoppers can get a chance to play select Wii games before purchase. Also available is line of 8 Nintendo DS' if shoppers wish to try out the handheld experience.

“What we’ve been seeing all year long is the expansion of video game fun to people of both genders, and all ages and tastes—there’s literally something for everyone,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “But in recent weeks, Nintendo products appear to be appealing to even more people, as every form of fun is being measured against a price tag. And that’s what makes this experience in Toys“R”Us so compelling—all the fun and information is available right at your fingertips.”

“Toys“R”Us Times Square is the premier New York City destination for families, and Nintendo offers the ultimate family gaming experience, making a partnership between our two brands the perfect match,” said Bill Lee, Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager, Toys“R”Us, U.S. “The new, dedicated Nintendo department at Toys“R”Us Times Square allows us to offer customers an exceptional interactive experience for testing out the latest Nintendo products.”
