Announced on Capcom's blog this morning, Super Street Fighter II HD Remix has officially sold 250,000 units after being released on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. This is a great feet for the title even though its an updated remake.

The blog also mentions that it has shattered one day sales for a Capcom title and will more then likely break the 30 day sales record.

This obviously is a pre-cursor to what will happen with Street Fighter IV's release....*imaignes 300,000 units sold for the title.

While it was only available to those who pre-ordered the game before release, DICE has decided it will lift the lock on the games Time Trial mode. So, gamers are given the chance to experience a brief look at the Time Trial mode in the downloadable demo on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.

The only trick is you can use any 16 digit code to unlock it (ie. 0000-0000-0000-000), according to DICE.

DICE announced today that all players can now unlock the Time Trial mode in the recently released demo for Mirror’s Edge™ available at the PlayStation® Store and Xbox LIVE™ Marketplace. By using any 16 number code (i.e. 0000-0000-0000-000) gamers can experience the thrill of seamlessly stringing moves together in an effort to beat the clock! To unlock the Time Trial mode players need to select Race > Play Time Trial in the main menu of the demo, and then enter the code. Unlocking the game mode works with already downloaded versions of the demo.

MIrror's Edge will be receiving a PC version come January 16th, 2009 and upcoming DLC. Check out more about the game here http://www.mirrorsedge.com/.

According to USA Today, apparently it was let known that the much anticipated Guitar Hero: Metallica will be hitting store shelves in Early 2009. With the band releasing its new album Death Magnetic recently, it seems just the right moment to hit the fans with it's own Guitar Hero mantle. USA Today also had the chance to speak with a couple of the band members like drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist Kirk  Hammett.
