In what I am now labeling Press Release of the Year, Valve has announced that Portal 2 will be shipping this coming holiday season. Portal 2, which will be a stand alone sequel will supposedly retail for $49.99 with pre-orders shipping on October 26, 2010 from GameStop. In addition, GameInformer has revealed that their April 2010 magazine will have a 12 page cover story spread that will contain additional details on the sequel to the 2007 Portal that was included as part of Valve's Orange Box release. We can all only hope that the cake is not a lie this time.
