Capcom sent us a notification about the upcoming Dark Void demo. Players will be able to take the game for a spin this week. The demo will hit Xbox Live on January 6th, this Wednesday and January 7th, this Thursday for the Playstation Network.

Dark Void is a sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and ground-pounding combat. Set in a parallel universe called “The Void,” players take on the role of Will, a pilot dropped into incredible circumstances within the mysterious Void. This unlikely hero soon finds himself swept into a desperate struggle for survival, joining forces with a rebel human group called The Survivors. Trapped in the Void, these resistance fighters are battling to hold off a mysterious alien race that plans to threaten Earth.

The full game will release for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on January 19th.

The apocolyptic action adventure title releasing this week, Darksiders, has been composed by the same people behind the musical entries in the God of War series. The two minds, Cris Velasco (God of War series, Clive Barker's Jericho) and Mike Reagan (God of War series, Conan) have combined to create an atmosphere to help bring Darksiders into perspective.

Jeremy Robins, audio director at Vigil Games, commented, "Mike and Cris have delivered a score that not only encompasses a character as epic as one of the four horsemen, but helped define it as an IP."

Victor Rodriguez, music director at THQ, added, "Cris and Mike bring the emotion with their unique, highly visceral musical score."

In DARKSIDERS players will explore a world set 100 years after the biblical Apocalypse, traveling through expansive dungeons, battling demons and angels and striking deals with unsavory characters in an epic quest to restore the balance between Heaven and Hell. DARKSIDERS is scheduled to release in North America on January 5th, 2010 and launches in the UK on January 8th, 2010. For more information please visit

According to a blog post on ESPN, Jon Robinson, went into a bit of detail explaining why he thinks EA Sports' new game announcement this month will be NBA Jam for the Nintendo Wii. According to him, ESPN received a good tip from sources claiming that the new title is indeed NBA Jam, and that EA Sports has acquired the rights for the game from the NBA and the game will ship exclusively for the NIntendo Wii.

The game apparently will be built by the original creators of the game way back when it first released in the arcades in 1993 from Midway Games. Originally, from a post on Destructoid, the rumor was going around that NFL Trainer was coming exclusively to Wii which would show you the ins and outs os training to become a football player.

Time will tell, as we'll more then likely won't hear about this announcement till later this month.
