Ever thought you couldn't get enough of martians? Empire Interactive has announced this morning that Martian Panic will be brought exclusively for Wii in early 2009.

Developed by N-Fusion Interactive Entertainment Corp., Martian Panic will take the shooting genre out of this world, with new levels of strategy, and experimental weaponry. If one gun at a time isn’t enough, players can grab a second Wii Remote™ and blast away in the game’s dual wielding mode. Up to four players can battle simultaneously against the Martian onslaught and the advanced camera system ensures that the gamer’s vantage is always right. The rules are simple but the action is intense, so hold onto your helmet as the challenges escalate.

Nuevos mapas para Mirror´s Edge from Electronic Arts on Vimeo.

^ The above video showcases some new details on the downloadable content that was announced not too long ago for 2009. The time-trailness looks confusing as hell and hopefully is something that can actually be worth it. Thankfully, EA has just released a press release detailing the new maps

Players will be challenged to achieve the fastest times possible on nine races across seven all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps. No guns, no cops, and no city: this is true aesthetics, agility and flow that will challenge any runner. This special DLC pack will be available for $10 USD or 800 Microsoft points. As an added bonus, all PLAYSTATION 3 Mirror’s Edge fans will be able to download an additional map for free.

How many will be actually buying this DLC? The DLC will hit Xbox Live and PSN on January 16th, 2009. Read more below..

The DS offers a new way for adventure fans to immerse themselves into the fascinating storyline of the award-winning Syberia:

For Kate Walker, a sophisticated New York Attorney, the Voralberg Toy Company acquisition seemed like an easy task: a quick stop-over to a small alpine village in France to buy-out an old toy factory, then straight back home to New York. But deep in the alpine valleys, Kate uncovers a secret which starts her on a fascinating quest of discovery. Due to an unexpected twist, her business trip quickly becomes a journey across land and time throwing all she values into question, while the deal she set out to sign becomes a pact with destiny...

Making optimal use of DS features such as touch-screen functionality, Syberia on DS offers gamers a truly immersive experience.  Character movements are controlled directly and an always available, dynamic inventory system is accessed using the stylus.  Prepare to embark on a journey that will envelop and capture your imagination, emotions and senses!
